MTG Arena Codes
11/12/2022
*MTGA codes may be fewer and fewer now that the email system within the game is now being utilized to deliver cosmetics, cards, and the three free packs for each release, however, Wizards may still release codes for other things, so let's try to keep up.
The Collection Grows

Expanding your collection of digital Magic: The Gathering cards can be a grind on MtG Arena unlike MTGO which is pay to play. With Hasbros push to have WotC release set after set at an unprecedented rate, it's hard to keep up financially, and emotionally. So let's put together a list of codes that can help in between all the grinding for gold and gems.

The free MtG Arena codes listed here unlock cards, experience boosts, and cosmetics. Some of these may be expired as too much time has gone by for the alotted period, but we do want to keep a running list regardless of the codes status. All set codes listed provide three free packs while the other codes will be stated above the list as to what is provided.

After nabbing some codes feel free to check out our other MtG content as well as board games and video games.

How Redeeming Works
Two ways to redeem MTG Arena codes: 1 - fire up the PC and MTGA, click on the "Store" tab at the top of the page. Once there, look for the "Redeem Code" text box in the upper righthand corner. Copy pasta, done. 2 - PC slow? Then use your phone, but not the Arena app as this has yet to be enabled. Instead head to Wizards of the Coast account page and here you can enter your Arena deets. On the right-hand side of your account dashboard, you’ll find the "Redeem a code" box...copy pasta, done.
Are there any other ways to get Arena codes?
Hell yea there is, are, yes. You can follow or periodically check the Arena Twitter or you can subscribe to their Newsletter as codes do sometimes trickle out of there. The physical Planeswalker decks released between the sets Guilds of Ravnica and Core Set 2021 each come with a code to unlock their cards in MTG Arena. This will net you not only the physical cards you just bought, but a copy of them in the virtual space!
