But Petey didn't have a head!

Wingspan is such a treat! An easy, family-friendly game with a lot of depth. Plus, the art is easy on the eyes, and the components are "muah, chefs kiss". This is a "snap" pick up for a starter game as well as a good purchase for someone that may have many years of gaming under their belt. I'll give you the five cent tour before you jump into the video in which I go more in depth as I play through one game vs some AI opponents. My playthrough game clocked in just under an hour, but could go longer with multiple human players. Wingspan is an engine building game driven by card selection; basically play a card and get stuff. A player will have three actions, but many choices due to bird powers, and environment powers.

The three actions:

1: Gain food tokens via custom dice in a birdfeeder dice tower
2: Lay eggs using egg miniatures in a variety of colors
3: Draw from hundreds of unique bird cards and play them.
Down below you'll find and embedded vid as well as pics from the board game actual. Now, get out of here and go watch the game.

Playthrough:

No matter what edition/printing you buy, it's high quality

and so many premium bits!
